Put more feeling in your Jewishness. Temple Beth David offers a break from the busy secular world. It restores us. It provides perspective on what is really important in our lives. Come weekly and find out why services make a difference in our congregants’ lives. Temple Beth David is an oasis for Jewish learning, prayer, sharing, and celebrating with family and friends. We pay attention to the spiritual side of ourselves – a sort of rehab for the soul. Temple Beth David is an intimate smaller shul where each person can make a big difference.
We take pride in being a friendly, participatory, egalitarian community, welcoming all to be a part of our synagogue family. We have an active lay congregation and you will want to join us in the passion we bring to prayer.
We care for each other, care for our wider community and care about what happens in the world. Rabbi Michael Silbert teaches us hope in difficult times and brings his own special perspective to the Torah study each week.
Meaningful Worship. If you believe that prayer is the song of the heart – join us. We help to transcend the emotional, language and cultural barriers that can distance us from our liturgical legacy.
Engaged Learning. Both children and adults learn, so that we all become literate, knowledgeable and compassionate Jews who grow to love Judaism and living a Jewish life.
Sharing with Others In the Community. We care about Jews everywhere – our community, Israel and the wider world. Come and be part of social activism.
